In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and French Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended (known as the “Informatique et Libertés” law), The Value Factory is committed to protecting the personal data of users of the site. No personal data is collected or processed without the explicit consent of the user or without an appropriate legal basis.
Collection and Purpose of Data
The website thevfactory.com may collect certain personal information from users only when it is necessary to provide the services offered (contact requests, newsletter subscription, etc.). Users provide this information knowingly when voluntarily filling out an online form. They are informed whether the requested data is mandatory or optional. The following are the cases of personal data collection on the site and their purposes:
- Contact Form: When you fill out the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. This data is used solely to contact you back and to respond to your inquiry or to provide a commercial offer regarding the services of The Value Factory. The information is transmitted securely (via HTTPS under an SSL certificate) directly by email to our team. This information is retained for a maximum of three years from the last communication and is intended solely for The Value Factory.
- Newsletter / Email Communications (Brevo): If you choose to receive our news (for example, by checking the subscription box on the form), your name and email address may be used to send you newsletters or informational communications via our email marketing service, Brevo. Purpose: Management of the sending of information and promotional content from The Value Factory. Legal Basis: Your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Site Navigation: During your visit, certain technical data may be automatically collected by the site or by third-party services (see Cookies section below), for example, your IP address, browser type, or information about the pages visited. This information is used solely for statistical purposes (measuring site traffic, improving the service) and for security. It does not allow The Value Factory to directly identify you, and it is used only internally or by our duly authorized technical service providers.
The Value Factory does not sell or disclose any personal data of its users to third parties. Your personal information is processed confidentially and can only be disclosed in the event of a legal obligation or with your consent. Any service providers or subcontractors (such as Brevo for email communications, as mentioned above) act under our instructions and in compliance with GDPR.
